Best tour I have ever imagine
1.The guide- Mr. Sophoan was an amazing guide, with lots of experience and knowledge of Cambodian history and its Culture which made the trip one very interesting. His patience and kindness made the difference and a pleasant trip. He took care ofmy family and I very well spcially crossing th boarder from Thailand to Cambodia an vise versa.
2. The tour-the guide took us to the most famous and most importat temples and ruins in Siem Reap. Spectacular sightseeing.
3. The guide went above and beyond taking good care of us, suggesting places to eat and keeping us hydrated during a hot weather.

Angor Wat an Amazing Day Tour !!!
Having just returned from my vacation to Thailand / Cambodia I would have to say visiting Siem Reap / Angkor Wat was definitely the highlight of are trip.We were picked up from our hotel in Bangkok on time via air conditioned private car and then proceeded crossing the boarder from Thailand to Cambodia. Crossing the boarder and meeting Mr. Sophoan who was extremely professional though out the trip. Once we arrived at Angkor Wat. Mr Sophoan was very knowledgeable speaking good English answering all of are questions and providing us with plenty of history and facts of the temples, it was clear Mr Sophoan really took great passion in making sure we had the best experience possible. We covered most of the grounds, never feeling rushed taking plenty of pictures which Mr Sophoan gladly took for us. Mr. Sophoan kindly negotiated with locals on the best prices when it came to buying soveniors, showing he went that extra mile to make are trip as pleasant as possible. I would defiantly recommend Mr. Sophoan and this tour to any one who is looking for an unforgettable experience of the history rich Siem Reap/ Angkor Wat.. A once in a life time experience one that has to be seen in person the amazing the detail and the history that is Angor Wat really is something to be seen.

Great Angkor Wat day tour
A friend and me decided to book a day tour from Bangkok to Angkor Wat. Mr Sophoan Rath organized everything very well with us via email in advance. He answered immediately and and gave us detailed information about everything we needed. In Bangkok the pick up went smoothely and Mr Rath was always available via his mobile and took care of us. He was a very knowledgeable, helpful and really nice guide which we would recommend to everybody!

Definitely Unforgettable!
It has been almost a month now since we toured Siem Reap to visit the temples, try local dishes, fruits and vegetables and know the people of this "tourst-y", sacred and bountiful city. The well -defined itinerary arranged for us by Mr. Sophoan Rath included the three hour trip from our hotel in Bangkok via air conditioned private car and crossing the boarder from Thailand to Cambodia which was an experience of a lifetime. We were politely assisted for approval of our visas. Going into Siem Reap in our private SUV in less than two hours enjoying the luscious green rice fields country sites went fast. Siem Reap is full of history that my sister and I could have stayed another night to enjoy downtown more. The food was good and clean. The people were very polite and our uniformed professional tour guide Sophoan and Sim who speak excellent English with minimal accents were very knowledgeable and considerate of any deviations in the day's plan. We were fortunate to witness the famous setting sun and the soothing sunrise at Angkor Wat. One would think that having been up and down the steps for roughly 6 hours that we would be tired to watch the 5 a.m. sunrise the next day. The fact is, it was a very energizing and calming experience. I truly enjoyed the early morning crowd. While it could get hot by noon during the tour, our drivers have always kept the car cool after each tour stop. We were never inconvenienced as in waiting in lines, looking for the ride and not understanding our tour guides. The restaurants we were brought to offered authentic Cambodian dishes with the modern touch of fusion and elegance. Fresh, icy cold fresh coconut drink and passion fruit drinks were available and replenished us for a very reasonable price. By far, we find that the prices of food and accommodation were relatively reasonable compared to other Asian countries we have visited. I am personally compelled to share this wonderful trip to any person who wants a trip that is relaxing as it is close to nature, spiritually stimulating, informational and historical. Above all, we both felt safe embarking this journey without our husbands. By the time we came back to the cross the border as it was getting dark, we felt that saying "goodbye "actually meant "welcome home" that we wished we planned to stay longer in Cambodia to explore the northern part of the country and stayed less days in Thailand. Nevertheless, the professional guidance and assistance from Mr. Sophoan and his staff made this trip unforgettable. Diana G.- California

Fantastic tour of Angkor Wat!
I had the pleasure of having Sophoan Rath as our guide when we visited Siem Reap this February, 2015. Sophoan is very knowledgeable, very friendly, very helpful, and a really really nice person. Our visit to Angkor Wat was greatly enhanced by having Sophoan show us the sights. I highly recommend Sophoan to anyone wanting to visit Cambodia. He is not just knowledgeable about Siem Reap, Angkor Wat but also about the other beautiful places in Cambodia.

ANGKOR WAT BEST TRAVEL GUIDE EVER!!!
We planned a trip to Angkor Wat through SOPHOAN RATH and this guy is just unbelievable. He was nice, super-friendly, responsible, on time and on schedule, attentive to the group, informative... you name it! The whole tour program and duration were flawless. Sophoan personally picked us up from the airport and were with us all the way till we depart Cambodia at the Thailand Border. If you're looking for value for money, informative tours and responsible tour guide, go with this tour operator and must ask for the tour to be conducted by SOPHOAN RATH. Absolutely Fantastic Day Trip!!!
Sophoan is the best!!! Top Notch Every Step of the Way I would highly recommend this tour without hesitation. My wife and I had limited time in Thailand and were daunted with the idea of trying to squeeze in a trip to Cambodia but really wanted to see Angkor Wat. I found a day trip tour on trip advisor and I can tell you all of the fantastic reviews were correct. Sophoan had a guide pick us up at our hotel and take us to the border where we got our visas and made our way into Cambodia without any problems (we were able to skip what was a massive line!) My wife and I are really into history and Sophoan told us not only about the history of Angor Wat and Cambodia but his own personal experience growing up there which was really special. He was incredibly knowledgable and very nice. The tour is private so if you need to stop and get a drink or use the restroom he will find a safe and clean place. This flexibility made for a very enjoyable tour.
Sophoan also knew how to really see all the sights. We saw everything important and he gave us the history of Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom and all the highlights. We had a good amount of time and were not rushed (my wife and I went to the top, were able to take lots of pictures, buy souvenirs, and have a nice lunch without feeling hurried). It was great because Sophoan went with us and was our own private photographer as well. I was amazed how we were able to see so much. Sophoan even modified the tour for use so we were able to go to the floating village.
In short, this tour is worth every penny. It's a safe and fun way to see all the highlights of Siem Reap. You can just sit back, relax, and enjoy.

Angkor Wat and Nearby Places
We had an excellent tour guide Mr. Sim Sopheaktra arranged by Mr. Sophoan Rath of Cambodia Travel Trails for 2 full days.We were taken to Great City of Angkor Thom, Bayon temple, Terrace of the Elephants, Angkor Wat, Sahasra Lingams in Kbal Spean, and Tonle Sap Great lake with a cruise to Floating Village, etc. Mr. Sim Sopheaktra was excellent in that he spoke decent English and had a thorough knowledge of the history of the places that he showed us. He has also published some books on Angkor Wat. We were also taken to a local dance show in the evening and thanks to our guide, we had very good seats right in the front of the stage. Cambodian Government charges standard fees for seeing Angkor Wat depending on the number of days of your visit. Boat Cruise also costs extra money. I would definitely recommend Cambodian Travel Trails for your visit to Angkor Wat.

Angkor Wat All Day Tours by Cambodia Travel Trails
Ten days ago, my wife and I visited Siem Reap and used Cambodia Travel Tours for sightseeing Angkor Wat and surrounding attractions. We were met the airport upon our arrival by our tour guide Mr. Sim Sopheaktra. We used the tour services for 2 days. The tour included an air-conditioned car with a separate driver and tour guide. There was plenty of cold bottled water available for us throughout our tour. Sim happens to be very knowledgeable on Cambodian history. He has also written a book on the history in the Cambodian language. Both the driver and the tour guide were very courteous throughout our trip and accommodated to our needs (we are vegetarians). Sim was also able to procure us very good seats at the evening dinner and cultural show at Koulen Restaurant. I wanted to go to Sahasra Linga in Kbal Spean which was not in the itinerary suggested by Mr. Sophoan Rath of Cambodia Travels. That place is 50 km from Siem Reap and it takes an hour and fifteen minutes one way. Add to this another two hours for climb up the hill to see the Lingas. Mr. Rath acceded to our request and we were able to pack that site also among the places that we saw during our trip. We would strongly recommend them for a nice experience in visiting Angkor Wat. Their price was better than what our hotel would offer us.

Great experience with Poan!
My friend and I spend 2 days and 1 night in Siem Reap! We had a great time with Poan as our tour guide. We had a private driver the whole time. He picked us up from the airport, and then took us to our hotel to check in and drop our stuff, patiently waiting for us at the lobby. We then went for a great tour of Angkor Wat. That place was extremely touristy, which was a bit disappointing but still worth it. Then we went to see the sunset at another temple again very crowded and in the evening we went to see a traditional dance show with a buffet (I'm personally not a big fan of buffet so I would recommend a different more local option for dinner)
The next day we woke up very early (around 4am) to see the sunrise at Angkor Wat. Poan and our driver were again very punctual, waiting for us at the lobby. Again very touristy, but what can you do.
After the sunrise, we went back to the hotel for breakfast, and then left to see the other temples.. which were all amazing! Much less crowded, and more impressive in my opinion than Angkor Wat, which is the biggest temple.
On our way back, we went to see a concentration camp from the Khmer Rouge regime. It wasn't planned initially, but I'm so glad we ended up them before leaving. Every single person that visits Cambodia and Siem Reap needs to know that story. It was extremely humbling and put things in perspective of where Cambodia is now and what those people had to go through in the past. Poan was great a telling us his story and the one of his family and friends. It was very touching and emotional, but we would have missed out a big deal if we didn't listen to it.
Poan and our driver were extremely friendly and punctual. They made sure we were satisfied with our trip and went above and beyond to make it smooth for us. They are very knowledgable and we left Cambodia much richer culturally than when we arrived. We totally recommend tourist with them!

My husband and I did a 2 days/1 night tour of the Angkor Temples by car from Bangkok. We had an excellent time thanks to Sophoan and Sim (our tour guide with tremendous amount of knowledge of the Angkor Temples and excellent command of the English language, by the way his book on the Angkor Temples will be published in the near future, so trust me, the guy knows what he is talking about!!!). From the very first email until the drop-off at our hotel in Bangkok, everything was organized sufficiently and professionally. I can only highly recommend Angkor Wat Services Day Tours!
