Very organised experience

We participated in the day trip to Cambodia three days ago and was very impressed by the high level of organisation by the team. Sok ensured we crossed the Thai/Cambodian border with no problems and our drivers were very efficient throughout the day. Our guide Sophoan was excellent and also acted as our personal photographer! Thank you for an amazing day and we will send any photos as soon as we arrive back in the UK. Thanks again.

Amazing Angkot Wat Day

Tour I would like to thank Sophoan and his team for the wonderful tour in Angkor Wat. I planned this trip to Southeast Asia and we chose the 1 day tour from Bangkok to Siem Reap because we did not have a lot of time in Bangkok. From the moment I contacted Sophoan by e-mail, I noticed he was very informative and knowledge. He answered all my e-mails and queries quickly. I would like to share my experience in detail because I was very satisfied with the tour service. As agreed and informed by Sophoan previously, there was a driver arranged by Sophoan in our hotel lobby at 2:30am. He provided the driver name and information as well as the van plate number in advance. When we arrived at the Cambodia and Thailand border, there was an English speaker guide to help us to cross the border. After crossing the border, there was another driver with an A/C car waiting for us to drive to Siem Reap. We arrived in Siem Reap and met Sophoan in the hotel where we had another driver to take us to Angkor Wat. All drivers provide bottled waters for us when needed. The package included the entrance fee and we had a very informative tour with loads of history of the temples we visited. Sophoan kindly took us to a souvenir shop after visiting the Angkor Wat. This was a last minute request and he was very happy to take us where we wanted. After we finished the day tour, the same driver took us back to Cambodia and Thailand border and the same English speaker guide to help us to cross the border. After that, here was a minivan waiting for us to take us to the hotel in Bangkok. I highly recommend this tour, it is worth having a knowledgeable and friendly guide and someone to explain the beauty of Angkor Wat. Sophoan also took great pictures of us during the tour and sent them by email. Much appreciated.

Full-day private tour to Prasat Preah Vihear, Koh Ker and Beng Mealea

I had booked a private full-day tour for Prasat Preah Vihear, Hoh Ker and Beng Mealea. The tour was one of the most memorable sighseeing trips I have ever undertaken, thanks to Mr. Sophoan Rath. His dedication, knowledge and personal care are truly outstanding. I learned so much about the history and culture of the three places in particular, and Angkor Wat and Cambodia in general, I feel a great sense of debt and gradtidue. Should you visit Seam Reap and look for a tour guide/company: look no further, this is the one to choose!

Wonderful tour! Great Guide!

We (with our two sons, 12 and 16) made a 2 day tour to Cambodia coming from Bangkok. It was a great experience. Mr. Sophoan Rath was our guide, he was excellent and made our tour amazing. When we decided to do it we contacted Mr. Sophoan by email. He gave us all the information needed, organized the tour as we asked and explained all the details about the border crossing. Our trip started at Bangkok airport, a van with internet took us to the border, there was someone waiting for us to help us crossing the border and, after that, there was another Van to take us to Siem Reap. We were able to see all temples at Angkor Wat Park, Chong Kneah floating village and Knal Spean mountain waterfall. Mr. Sophoan was always with us, explained everything so clear, answered all our doubts and all our needs. He made our tour wonderful. My kids loved this trip. We all did! If you are planning to do a trip to Siem Reap I suggest you book it with Mr. Sophoan!

Knowledgeable, hard-working, and personable

Sophoan was amazing! My friend and I were in charge of getting 55 people to cross the Cambodia border to Thailand which is a long border crossing. He was immediately personable and he was so knowledgeable about the details about how to fill out the deportation cards, etc. He brought a lot of clarity to something that could be quite confusing. He also was so hard working. When our group split up since some were ready to cross sooner, he would help my group and then run back to help the group behind. He was an incredible blessing and he made our border crossing so much easier and fun. Even though we only spent about 2 and half hours with him, he almost felt like family.

Honestly your best option for a tour of Angkor Wat and surrounding temples

Sophoan, the man who runs the tours, is really just a fine human being. His English and knowledge of the temples and the significance of all of the architecture and art are exceptional. I had a tour with Sophoan with me and my young daughter. He is just really stellar, always thoughtful to how both of us were doing and making sure we were getting what we wanted out of the experience. He also just knows the right places to take great pictures and he took amazing photos of my daughter and me in just the right spots in the temples. I considered that an extra nice touch. He is honest, far less expensive than the other tours, so there is just no better deal. You always feel unsure when you are making decisions from thousands of miles away, but this is a great and safe choice. Go for it!

SECURE, GREAT SERVICE!

If you dont have time to stay longer in cambodia, this is the better option, we were in Bangkok and have just 1 day to go there, everything was perfect, on time, all set up. It was worth it, Mr. Sophan great person, Our guide Kim the best and a great photographer, our driver so good, all the people who work there were so kind. The tour was amazing, we even have time to go to hard rock café to buy stuff. Such an amazing day with the best service in town!

When you are planning a tour half way around the world you are a bit skeptical and nervous if everything will work out. We had made arrangements to be picked up in Laem Chabang, Thailand to meet with Sophoan Rath in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Sophoan met us at our hotel and for the next 24 hours treated us like royalty!

Your professional services offered were the best we have ever seen, and we have done a lot of tours in many places, around the world. You shared with us all the history of Angkor Wat, and your country. We learned so much in such a short time. It was truly amazing!! Sophoan you are the best and it was pleasure meeting you! Awesome experience with a great tour guide

We took a one day tour of Angkor Wat from Bangkok. Just one look at this remarkable place and we both knew it was going to be an awesome experience. The whole complex is very big and it would take more than one day to thoroughly see all the temples, since each and every single one of them is beautiful in its own way. Especially the one with the trees that show their roots (Ta Prohm). The tour guide (Mr. Sophoan Rath) did an excellent job.

He explained the history of the temples and the stories portrayed on the walls with great detail and knew the answers to any of our questions and he was very nice.You could tell that he really cared about our experience from the way he was willing to adapt to our wishes (the order of seeing the temples, seeing the city, go for a bite, rest).

The experience with this tour company was more than amazing, and we would recommend them to anyone travelling to Angkor Wat.

"Excellent tour with Sophoan Rath''

If I say just perfect it will not be enough. We were four and we wanted from Thailand to visit the temples of Angkor. Crossing the Poipet border could be quite adventure but with perfect organization mr. Sophoan was done for us everything went smooth and easy. Tours on the temples was excellent. My husband and I have visited Angkor before, but thanks to Sophoan it was like for the first time, showing us the temples in completely new way. I can write a lot more, but it won't be necessary. We all strongly recommend Sophoan. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. Many, many thanks once again.

Absolutly Stunning

We were on a 15 day tour of Thailand and could not find an itinerary that included River Kwai with Angkor Wat. After some careful research we found Cambodia Travel Trails, and Mr. Sophoan Rath. By taking a day out of our Bangkok itinerary we were able to see one of the great wonders of the world. From the very first inquiry from home to the end it was a seamless experience. The communication, any extra questions were answered within a day, The itinerary documents, how to get Visa's, Even the suggestion by the pickup driver to leave an extra half hour early from our hotel worked out perfectly. Our professional certified guide at Angkor was Usaphun Karnkanok and he was absolutely superb, great knowledge, worked at our pace, we had a wonderful breakfast and lunch of local fare, were able to see all the stated itinerary without feeling rushed. After the tour we asked Usa if he could take us shopping at a few local places and the answer was SHURE let's go! Without a doubt, one of the most memorable experiences of our worldwide touring. A most excellent tour by Sophoan Rath (National Guide)

I can't say enough good things about the wonderful tour and our absolutely outstanding tour guide, Sophoan Rath. First his English is excellent so you can understand what he tells you. Second his knowledge is voluminous. We never asked a question he couldn't answer and we ask a lot of questions. Third, he was extremely helpful and creative in taking us through the many temples, palaces, and sites of this area which is truly a Wonder of the World. I am handicapped but that didn't stop us. he managed to get me to places with short walks, and then to haul a walker up and down the stairs. He was honest, kind, helpful and just fun to be with. I feel very lucky to have had such a special guide to make our tour possible and meaningful. WE ALL LOVED IT!
