Kim tour guide a fantastic all around. The guide was absolutely fantastic and showed us some places which we otherwise never would been. But also beautiful photographer by I phone to take amazing photos! best culture,history,foods,friendly, keep smile,happy,take care all time ! Excellent 2 day tour with Mr.Kim! Amazing photos and memories

This review, from our 2 day tour in late March and I can't say enough positive things about our entire experience with Angkor Wat Services day tours. It's been one of the top highlights we've told friends about since returning - so much so, that our friend John recently booked his tour with them for a single day tour.

The hospitality and service - from start to finish was to a level I've never experienced and rather exemplified the hospitality we experienced everywhere during our time in Cambodia. Every detail was thought of including Kim's stopping by our hotel the day before to ensure everything was planned and ready to go upon our arrival the next day - to kick off with the sunrise tour and a 5 am pick up.

I am an avid picture taker - have a go pro , drone, cameras - you name it. I LOVE photos and capturing the memories of my travels. Without a doubt - this incredible tour was made all the more memorable by the patience and attentiveness of Kim - not only did he take hundreds of amazing photos for us - but really unique angles and approaches that captured the beauty of the Angkor national complex, but also allowed us to avoid the crowds and feel nearly alone in one of the busiest tourist sites of S. East Asia.

Thank Mr. Sophoan, our driver and especially to Kim who made our trip so unforgettable!

Highlight of our trip - one of the best tours I've ever taken

I cannot speak highly enough Angkor Wat Services day tours! This review, from our 2 day tour in late March, is lonngg overdue but I couldn't bring myself to write a quick review that wouldn't properly do justice to the 5 star treatment we experienced. From the pre-trip organization to the top notch hospitality and attentiveness throughout both days by Mr. Kim and our driver - this was truly the highlight of our 16 day trip in Cambodia and the Philippines.

Pre-trip: We were referred by a colleague of mine who had recently used Angkor Wat Services day tours for his honeymoon and couldn't speak more highly of the experience. Mr. Sophoan was very quick to reply, incredibly courteous and not only provided us with ample information and resources, but also answered a number of questions from me.

Tour itself:
Our tour guide, Kim, was THE BEST. So much so that throughout the day, many other tour guides remarked how lucky we were to have him and believe me - we already realized it. Kim is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and together with our driver - provided the best hospitality we could have dreamed of. A huge thank you for your patience, friendliness and willingness to take literally 330 photos to insure our trip was documented and that these memories of a lifetime will be preserved. Thanks for humoring us and our crazy themed photos!

The sites are so beautiful - and there are many to be seen - they offered us the flexibility based on our needs, both with itinerary and timing and provided us with cold, bottled water, wet napkins to clean our hands, point to point service between the sites - all in a luxury vehicle.

Thank you, Kim, Mr. Sophoan and our driver (whose name I have forgotten - apologies!) for providing the best experience that we can't stop talking about since returning home!

Amazing One-Day Tour of Siem Reap!

I had reached out to Sophoan back in December regarding the one-day tour of Cambodia from Bangkok. I was immediately impressed by his prompt and thorough responses. I was traveling with my mother and she expressed concern about the trip but upon booking the tour, Sophoan provided us with a detailed itinerary which helped put me at ease. A few days prior to our visit, Sophoan sent us a detailed email with the people who would be involved with transporting us from Bangkok through the Poipet border and onwards to Siem Reap. He even included the license plate number of the car that would be picking us up! I had read some negative things online about the entry process at the border but Sophoan had people arranged to guide us through every step of the way. It couldn't have been more seamless. We arrived to our hotel late in the evening but Sophoan was there to greet us. After meeting him in person, I knew we were in good hands. His kind demeanor and knowledge of Cambodia and the surrounding area was moving, and I felt so lucky to have him as my guide. If you are considering a tour with him and his company, please do not hesitate in booking with him. He will take great care of you! His tours are customizable depending on what you want to gain out of your trip, and you will leave with a greater appreciation for the country and its people. I truly felt like one day was too short, but am so grateful for the experience.

Prek Toal Nature reserve and Floating Village!

We went for the one day guided tour of Prek Toal nature reserve and a floating village near to the reserve, the experience was fantastic. Mr Sophoan Rath took great care in looking after us on the excursion and was very informative as well as genuinely friendly. The ranger that took us on the boat around the nature reserve was obviously very well attuned to the area and it’s flora and fauna. My partner is a keen birder, myself not so much, BUT I really enjoyed the trip and getting to see so many tropical species was quite special. The floating village tour was eye opening. After lunch, we were taken around the village by paddle boat (optional & life jackets provided) and although (more due to our combined weight than anything else!) capsize seemed imminent at every wave caused by power boats, the lady that rowed us around did an amazing job, and it really gave an insight to how skilled in and around the water the people living on the floating village are. 100% would recommend the experience if you are in the area visiting the temple complexes of Angkor Wat. For those interested in the natural beauty of Cambodia this is a trip worth making in itself.

Trip Bangkok to Ankor wat for a day

We totally recomend this service, especially if you dont have ennough time. They pick up you on time at 3 am, and guide your inmigration formalities (not so easy) . Then, you know the hotel and your guide to ankor wat, who makes a good selection of the main places of interest. However, the times of stay in any place and the explanations depends on you: it is a private tour. The hotel options are good too. In conclusion: good organization, good atention, puntuality and in our case, mr. Rath (our guide and organizer) very nice, gentile and with a good english.

Personalised tour of Cambodia that exceeded our high expectations

We had visited Siem Reap before using Sophoan's firm. This time we asked for a personalised tour of Cambodia covering Phnom Penh, Battambang and our favourites in Angkor and beyond. Sophoan's descriptions in Phnom Penh will stay with us for life and his personal experiences made it all very real. We had a very specific tour of Angkor, but he breathed new life into our personal favourites and was knowledgeable about the new locations too - Beng Melea is definitely worth the trip! We had a great time and Sophoan definitely played his part in that. We could not recommend him highly enough.

Exceptional visit to Siem Reap/ Angkor Wat with Meticulous Planning!

I was heading to Thailand with friends and had a couple extra days at the end of the trip where I would be alone and wanted to take a 'day trip' (from Bangkok) to somewhere I hadn't seen. I decided upon travel to Siem Reap, Cambodia to visit the Angkor Wat temple complex! I wanted to go by car/bus and finding a group tour at the time I was there proved difficult. So, I looked up tour companies that might do private guided tours and found Sophoan Rath and his company. From the start, Sophoan was extremely responsive and put together a 2 day, 1 night trip to meet my needs. I asked about safety as a single female traveler and Sophoan assured me the trip was safe and that I would be assisted each and every step of the way. This turned out to be exceptional!
The assistance was like a perfectly synchronized relay:
from Bangkok hotel pick-up, to hand off to another guide at the border who walked me through visa obtainment and border crossing, to handover to the next driver who took me from border to Siem Reap hotel, where Sophoan came to say 'hi' and tell me of pick-up time the next day.
This was all replicated in reverse on my way back to Bangkok!! Then, the Angkor Wat tour (from sunrise through afternoon) was exceptional and Sophoan, an accredited Cambodian Tourism Guide, had great knowledge of the history. It is an experience I will always remember. I highly recommend using Sophoan Rath and his tour company when exploring Cambodia--for this type of tours or others.

End to end ownership

We availed of their services for a 2 nights, 3 days road trip from Bangkok to Angkor Wat and back. We are exhausted and satiated at the same time. There is so much to absorb from a culture and culinary perspective and the time duration was barely enough. The whole trip was very well managed including the border crossings. Our Angkor guide Kim and driver Sith were very informative and engaging. Kim made all the adjustments we wanted in our schedule including a sunrise trip to Angkor. That was quite an ethereal experience. Would highly recommend their services.

Getting the most plus more with Chet as your guide !!

'If you want to get the most from your visit and learn as much as you can, hire a guide'. This was the advice I was given and I'm glad I followed it. In my opinion we couldn't have picked a better guide. Chet was an expert guide always polite, on time, knowledgeable and educated with a great sense of humour. His prices were very reasonable and upfront. He took us to many interesting places such as Tonle Sap Lake fishing village and market and we learnt much about the local culture, customs and history of the area. We would have missed out on this valuable insight if we'd have wondered around on our own. Chet also took us to a number of temples and knew all of the best photo angles and the best time of day to visit to avoid the crowds. Chet has an incredible knowledge of the temples and the culture that built them. Chet is very enthusiastic and you can tell he loves his job. He really looks after you and makes your visit unforgettable.

Cambodia Travel Trails Day Tours

This Bangkok to Siam Reap tour made my very first trip to Cambodia as smooth as I could possibly imagine.From the moment I decided to inquire into this I could tell it would work out. It was incredibly organized with itinerary updates provided. We were picked up promptly from our hotel in Bangkok, met with someone right outside the border who helped us through the crossing and into another vehicle that took us through to Siam Reap. We grabbed our Angkor passes and our tour guide. Every step of the way we had someone there to guide us. The Angkor guide was informative, engaging, and funny. Most importantly, he allowed us to move at our own pace. We saw everything we wanted and more without feeling rushed or pushed to exhaustion.
