Bangkok to Angkor Wat and Back
If you get to Bangkok with limited time and realise that you really want to get to see the magnificent temple complex of Angkor Wat whilst you’re in the region all is not lost.
The delightful Sophoan Rath who runs Angkor Wat Services can arrange to take you from your Bangkok hotel to see all the main temples and back in a single (albeit very long) day.
The day’s agenda looked slightly daunting but every step ran like clockwork. We were picked up as promised at 3am and were driven to the Cambodian border where we were met by Suk who walked us (literally) through both sets of border posts.
The world changed significantly once over the border as the Cambodian country side and small villages passed by. This was a really interesting part of the day and something you won’t get if you fly directly to Siem Reap. After 2hours we arrived into the town which has transformed from the small backwater when I was here last 25 years ago.
Angor Wat is now a major tourist site with masses of tourists to,match. Sophoan really adds value to the day as he expedites the whole process. He seems to know everyone, has encyclopaedic knowledge of the site, its history and culture and not least is one of the most lovely people you’ll ever meet.
After seeing the main temples the time came to return and the reverse trip happened as before without a hitch. A truly unforgettable experience and not to be missed.

Knowledgeable, punctual, friendly and accommodating!
We did three days of tours with Angkor Wat services and they were fantastic. The first two days our guide was Khong (sp?) And he was very entertaining, new his history and the various attractions very well and just a really nice person. The third day we Sophoan was our tour guide and he was also outstanding, with extensive knowledge but also it was great to listen to his many stories of life in Cambodia. The bus was very clean and well maintained. The drivers were polite, helpful and very professional. I recommend Angkor Wat Services for tours in Siam reap without reservation.

As always, a great time with Sophoan!
My first trip to Cambodia was ten years ago, and my guide was 'Poan', Sophoan. Ten years later we just completed a family trip, nine days, we live in the Philippines. Poan does an amazing job with his organizational skills and first rate service! He knows the history of everything Khmer and can share knowledge of the culture of Cambodia along with all the historical sites. This was my 5th time to visit Cambodia. Poan and I explored many areas off the beaten path on previous trips, places I might not have discovered on my own. Besides all the interesting sites to see, Khmer people are some of the friendliest from any country I've visited, over thirty and still lot's to see on this earth. If you decide to visit Cambodia and need a professional, knowledgeable and friendly guide, you won't be disappointed, you will be completely satisfied guaranteed!

New friend Sophoan-makes our vacation great and amazing
Unforgetabble vacation in Siem Reap Cambodia for me from Philippineswith my son and my husband.We really enjoyed exploring nice places and seeing wonderful temples.My son always happy to ride tuktuk and to see big statues and temples.Its nice culture like what they have in Cambodia and foods are great.I am so happy to meet Sophoan who is very kind,friendly and willing to do everything just to make our vacation memorable.If you plan to visit Cambodia i really recommend to contact Sophoan and use there services that they can offer for you.For sure we will go back to Cambodia with my family.

Love, Trust and couldn't have asked for a better experience
A friend recommended this to us and we were so happy to have moved forward with this. We have had other friends that rented a tuktuk for day tours in Cambodia or explored it on their own which is fine, but it is very hot out and you have a lot of dust blowing at you. You never know when the price is going to surge and tuktuks can be a little uncomfortable when you're traveling for 30-45 minutes (we were told and also experienced the bumpy ride).
Sophoan Rath and Leng were an amazing pair. They were the best tour guide and driver - constantly alert of our surroundings, making sure we were comfortable at all times, going outside of the tour guidelines to help make our stay in Cambodia a pleasure (I wanted local fruits and needed to get medication where they accompanied us). They never complained once during the trip, always full of smiles and really tried to educate us on the culture and everything we were experience.
Sophoan and Leng were so humble. It was a great experience, not only because we were in an air conditioned car in 90 degrees weather, but they mentally prepared us for everything we were going to experience and even gave us a price range for purchasing items. We've already recommended them to a few friends who had the same experience we did.

Great one day tour
Our friends had a three day tour with Sophoan and highly recommended him to us, so we contacted him really last minute when every other company was fully booked. Sophoan was so kind. He was fully booked but he set up a tour for us with Kim. Kim was very funny and considerate, always asking us what we prefer to do. We ended up adding Beng Mealea to our tour even though it isn't part of the original plan. He always took us to the best spot for pictures to avoid the crowds. It was overall a great experience. Highly recommend this company.

Best choice to visit Cambodia
We visited Angkor Wat temples and the floating village in the surrounding area on a two day trip, starting from our hotel in Bangkok and coming back. Mr. Sophoan Rath of Cambodiatrail, who is a Cambodian authorized guide, arranged everything for us, from the picking up in Bangkok to the border crossing between Thailand and Cambodia, till the guided visit of the archeological sites. We are very grateful to him for his kindness, availability and professional attitude. We really recommend to organise a visit of this place with his help.

Sophoan Rath and TOM - very Good services More than excellent
I visited Siem Reap with my family in December. We were truly blessed to have this amazing, knowledgeable, friendly guide TOM around us. Very honest and humble. If you want a genuine tour, then call him up. I recommend Sophoan and Tom The best thing is that he is very genuine and adjustable. We appreciate and enjoyed our trip. If i plan for once more, sure i will take him and recommend to others.

Exceptional Tour Service
We visited Siem Reap in November. If you want to spend hours and hours reviewing competitor reviews - you can waste the time like I did! I spent hours and hours prior to our visit reading through various tour guide/service reviews on Trip Advisor. After reading numerous competitor reviews I decided that I would be booking our tours through Sophoan Rath - this choice was decided through reading the countless excellent reviews on Sophoan on trip advisor and also being aware this company is a nationally accredited service. Having never travelled to Cambodia I wanted a tour service that was helpful, knowledgeable, safe and reliable. We are so pleased that we booked our tours through Sophoan. He provided everything that we wanted and more! Sophoan was prompt with answering all my questions via phone and email and has excellent English skills which was helpful as we spoke no Khmer. There is no words to explain the excellence in customer service we received from Sophoan, he started as being our tour guide and ended as a friend. Sophoan arrived at our motel early in a comfortable late model SUV, air conditioning (which is a must!) and a lovely driver. We found Sophoan to be extremely knowledgeable about the history of this beautiful country and is willing to share his own experiences and knowledge with you.
Sophoan went above and beyond!! He helped us with organising our trip, was always assisting with opening and closing doors, providing bottles of cold water to even checking if the ladies toilet was ok to use and providing toilet paper if necessary - these are all small things however in a foreign country he made us feel so comfortable and safe. We toured the local temples, had an all day tour to Preah Vihear (which I highly recommend) and a tour of the floating village. Sophoan knew we were very interested in learning more about the Khmer culture and even arranged for us to visit a local school as we had bought with us pencils and stickers as gifts to the school. We cannot speak highly enough of Sophoan and we are so grateful for all his help and for allowing us to experience and visit his beautiful country. Sophoan made us feel like family and we have already booked another trip back to Camobodia in 2018 and we can't wait to catch up with our dear friend. Thank you for everything Sophoan xx

Great Travel Company for South East Asia
I traveled with a group of 43 people through South East Asia for 4 months and used Mr. Sophoan Rath's travel company for most all of our travel and we had all great experiences!!
Below is a detailed review of each time we traveled with Mr. Sophoan:
November 11th Phnom Penh to Bangkok:
Everything went really smoothly and great! From Phnom Penh to the border on the bus and the minibus there was enough space for everyone and all of the bags! From the Border to Bangkok there was also enough space for everyone and all of the bags on each of the mini vans! Also having you there to translate and help direct us through the border was very helpful, and your english is very good! All in all was a very good trip!
January 6th Bangkok to Siem Reap:
This whole exchange was very smooth and very enjoyable for all. Being able to go all the way through from Bangkok to Siem Reap on the same bus and not have to carry our things through border control was very nice and we were all excited when we heard about this! On the bus and the mini van that we took all the way through there was enough space for everyone and all of the bags. Also having you there again to direct and translate was very helpful to the whole ordeal and making everything go smoothly! This trip went very well and was a very good experience!
February 6th Battambang to Kompong Thom:
This trip also went very smoothly! The pickup of the other 2 passengers in Siem Reap on the way went very well! There was enough space on the minibus for all of us and our bags. Also the driver spoke good enough english so that we could communicate a few things like stopping for lunch and things like that which was helpful! All in all this trip went well and was a good experience!
February 26th Kompong Thom to Siem Reap (4 to Battambang):
This trip went pretty well. The minivan from Kompong Thom to Siem Reap was a little tight for the 10 of us with all of our stuff, but for sure wasn't the worst by any means. After the 4 left in Siem Reap towards Battambang we had an easy time getting to the hostel we were staying at which was really good! The 4 that went to Battambang had a good experience and had no complaints!
March 4th Battambang to Siem Reap:
This trip went well as far as I am aware. I got no complaints or feedback of any sort. It was nice to have the extra car with the bus to haul all of the bags with everyone which was good! They made really good time from Battambang to which was really good! Then the whole ordeal with one of our guys leaving a lap top in the car went really well! Thanks so much again for helping us get that to us at the airport!
